JELLICOE ROOF GARDEN

A water garden located on the 5th floor terrace of the House of Fraser store in Guildford. Grade 2 listed with English Heritage, the original garden was designed and built by the late Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe. Completely re-built on a smaller scale in 2000, this roof-top water garden presented interesting challenges. I adapted the planting to better suit the moist, very exposed conditions.
